Story

The moon shone, bright and eerie, down as he rode through the woods on his chestnut brown horse, looking back occasionally to check if they were still following him. He cursed under his breath when he saw them getting closer, closer. The side of his body hurt like crazy and blood was already starting to soak his tattered, previously white shirt.

He picked up two sharp, silver darts from his trouser pocket and flung them back quickly without looking, wincing a little. He knew his aim was still good when he heard shrieks of pain, and people falling of their horses.

He took a quick glance back again. Two left.
"What a bother." He said, blowing his fair hair away from his face.
Out if habit, he reached to the necklace he was wearing, smoothing the pad of his thumb gently over the pendant.

At that moment, there was a bright flash of light and he felt himself black out.
